I don't really know whether this really originated from Solo, a place in Java, but this is a traditional cake called "Serabi", and Serabi Solo is one of my favourite type of Serabi. Yes, serabi has many varieties
This one is chocolate flavour one of serabi solo
Serabi solo is made from rice flour and coconut milk, steamed, like so many other Indonesian traditional cakes. The taste is sweet and then we can add toppings like chocolate milk or meises like this one, jackfruit, banana, cheese, and jams. It's soft and warm, and best eaten warm. Its really lost its appeal when you eat it cold
Name : Serabi Solo
Type : Sweet cake
Ingedrients : rice flour, coconut milk, yeast, sugar and toppings
Price : This variety is Rp 2.000 ($0.2) each
