Hi there... It's been a busy months for me... But anyway, it shouldn't matter haha.
This time I want to introduce you to cendol. What is Cendol? Cendol is a traditional beverage in Indonesia, usually drank in the afternoon. Why, you ask? Well, because, you see, it is always iced. I don't know whether Cendol ever served hot, maybe it could, but I have never encountered it like that. Me myself will hate to have a hot Cendol because it is so sweet. The coldness reduce the sweetness a bit. It is one of my favourite beverages to drink. Imagine drinking a sweet iced refreshing beverages in mid-day... Hmm..

Cendol was a mix of coconut milk and brown sugar, and then the 'Cendol', the green thing you could see in the picture, is added. It is made from sagoo, I believe, and a perfect companion to the liquid part. It sadly always stuck at the bottom so usually I don't finish it. It has no taste, so once the liquid is gone it has no appeal on its own. Nevertheless, it is so delicious to drink it as a whole!

Price : Around Rp 5000 - Rp 10 000. You could get it in a restaurant for a maximum Rp 20.000
Ingedrients : Coconut milk, brown sugar, sagoo
Taste : sweet
